This case settled for Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000.00) prior to pre-trial depositions.
The Plaintiff, a 76 year-old women with multiple preexisting orthopedic problems tripped and fell over the leg of a display sign in an isle of the defendant’s pharmacy in Manhattan. The Plaintiff suffered multiple orthopedic injuries that required surgeries.
Importantly, our office was able to obtain a copy of the defendant’s security camera which showed the plaintiff’s trip and fall.
Most importantly we were able to negotiate a rather speedy mid-level six figure settlement for the plaintiff without having to even proceed with pre-trial depositions. This of course was of great help to our client given her advancing years.
